Prior to establishing Leadership Solutions, Peter was associated with Mercuri Urval, a Swedish consulting firm, for more than 20 years. In 1981, the firm sent Peter to New York to establish a United States base of operations. Starting from scratch, Peter built the organization to five offices. The firm now operates in 16 countries with more than 1,000 consultants.
Peter was educated at Steyning Grammar School in Sussex, England; at an Army Telecommunications College; and was graduated from Sandhurst’s Short-Service Officer Course (the British West Point equivalent). He served as a British Army Captain in the Royal Corps of Signals. His army experiences took him to Europe and the Far East and included command of a special Globe Trotters Troop. He took advanced studies in organizational and social psychology at Leeds, Hull, and Nottingham universities. Peter also worked as a human resource executive at a British manufacturing company in Brighton, England, before joining Mercuri Urval.

He is an experienced counselor, educator and business/project manager.As founder and CEO of a Boca Raton based publishing company, Ed spent the past 15 years assisting south Florida business leaders to position and market their companies for growth and success. During this same time, he was engaged by area professionals in the development of various educational programs. He co-founded programs in entrepreneurship, digital media and visual arts which have been successfully implemented in universities, museums and district schools.Earlier in his career, Ed worked as the program administrator at the Jefferson Business College in New Jersey, where he facilitated the Implementation of classes in the various aspects of successful business practice. After receiving his Masters Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, Ed began his career in counseling and continues today to serve as an adjunct college professor. His post-graduate work in constructive conflict management was published in the Journal of Social Issues addressing “Problem Solving Styles and Effective Strategies of 3rd Party Mediation”. He went on to serve 4 years in the Office of Veterans Affairs, practicing personal conflict management and career counseling.Ed is currently living in south Florida, with his wife of 20+ years and 3 sons. He is an avid youth athletics coach, twice named coach of the year by his league. He serves as communications consultant to the board of directors and special programs coordinator for a local chapter of the national not-for-profit organization, America’s Promise.

Earlier in his career, he worked in manufacturing including 5 years as Sr. VP and General Manager for a $20 million division of International Paint (a division of Courtaulds, Ltd at the time). Jim has also held executive positions in marketing, business and product development, and international operations with FMC Corporation and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.
Throughout his career, Jim has led organizations and built effective relationships with successful business owners and executives, attorneys, accountants, transaction specialists and financial advisors. His first-hand experience in many industries allows him to add significant value to almost any operation. Jim is always prepared to apply his business expertise and energy to get results for his clients. Jim has a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a BES in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. He is a licensed California real estate agent.
